Compaq IJ650
Like most of the other printers, this one seems to be in good working order but needs replacement ink cartridges. I had this hooked up to my Windows XP machine (installation was a snap) and printed a web page or two. The printing was quick but quiet. It connects via USB - you provide your own cable.
I found a review here.

HP Laserjet 5L
This is a small black and white laser printer. I don't know how much toner is left. The paper comes out dirty but a new toner cartridge might fix that. It could use a cleaning anyway. Power and parallel printer cables are included. There is no driver disk but Windows XP knew just what to do when I connected it.
Specs are here.

Xerox Docuprint M750
This is an color inkjet type of printer. The power cord is included and the installation disk. Vista recognizes it without the disk. I didn't try it on an XP machine. The ink is empty and the printer won't budge when the light is flashing so whether it will actually print is unknown. It's a little dusty but looks in good shape. Xerox builds 'em strong. Here's a review from Amazon.

Canon BJC-210
There is an AC adapter but not much else with this printer. There is a spec sheet here. The printer looks OK. It's a nice small-footprint color printer. It holds one cartridge at a time and they seem readily available and not too pricey. It's supported by Windows XP but it's not listed in the Vista list.

HP
Deskjet 3845
It's a nice little printer. This was given to me because it was "broken". The carriage was jammed according to the on-screen message box. I took it apart and put it back together so now it works like a champ. Can you use it?... it's yours. Needs ink (almost out) and a USB cable. Includes installation disk, booklet, setup chart, AC power adapter.

HP Officejet 7110 AIO
Printer Update
Scan, copy, fax... and print. I'm told that the printer was working fine but the colors were "off".
3/8/08
I'm really surprised that this hasn't gone already. It's a $500 printer!
I had a chance to fire it up and I put it through a few cleaning cycles. Here's what I found:
- It needs ink. The panel on the printer says 50% Black left and 53% color but all I get is black and cyan. It may be time to change ink cartridges. There are spare ink cartridges but I'll let you open them.
- I tried an alignment and the panel said I needed to replace magenta and yellow printheads. You'll need to buy these ($34 each MSRP). Maybe there is plenty of ink after all.
- It copies (of course, the copy is black and cyan) so I'll presume it will scan and fax. All the involved mechanicals were quiet and smoothly operating.
- I did not connect it to my computer.

Canon S600 Bubble Jet Color Printer
Read about it here. It doesn't scan, fax, copy or make coffee... it just prints. It's got both parallel and USB interfaces - I'll give you the parallel cable but if you'd rather use USB, you'll have to find your own USB cable. I haven't tried it out but it's reported to be working. No installation disk either but it's supported directly by Vista and drivers for earlier Windows versions are available online - I'll get a driver for you if you wish.

HP Deskjet 400 Printer
Facts are here. It's a neat little printer about the size of a shoebox. I don't have the drivers for it but it's supported directly by Windows XP and Vista. I also didn't get any ink cartridges with it - you'll need to get some. It can use black and color cartridges but only one at a time - that's why they provide the little case you see in the photo. It uses a parallel printer port (I'll throw in the cable.) Larger printers sometimes choke on small-sized paper or "invitation" envelopes (mine does anyway) but this is perfect for that job. So, if you don't take it, I'll use it for addressing envelopes.
